LHDL-ET301: ISO 13485 Certified Neurosurgical Operating Power System
The console can adjust the rotation direction of the handpiece. Equipped with the LHHP-TB601 handpiece, it has two modes: clockwise rotation and counterclockwise rotation.
The console can set the rotational speed of the handpiece. The speed setting range is shown in the following table: When the rotational speed is ≥1000 rpm, the error is ±10%; when the rotational speed is <1000 rpm, the error is ±100 rpm
Precision Bone Resection Solution for Complex Neurosurgical Procedures
Our ISO 13485:2016 certified Neurosurgical Operating Power System is a high-performance medical device specifically engineered to meet the rigorous clinical requirements of domestic and international neurosurgical operations. Developed by our in-house team of experienced medical device engineers specializing in endoscopic power systems, this advanced platform delivers exceptional precision, reliability, and safety for the most demanding cranial and spinal surgeries.
This manual is an integral part of the ME (Medical Equipment) system documentation, providing comprehensive instructions for proper installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the power system.
System Components & Working Principle
1
Intelligent Control Console: The central command unit features an intuitive user interface with real-time performance monitoring, adjustable speed settings, and customizable surgical presets. It provides stable power output across all operating conditions, ensuring consistent performance during critical procedures.
2
Ergonomic Waterproof Footswitch: The hands-free foot controller allows surgeons to adjust speed, switch between forward/reverse rotation, and activate auxiliary functions without breaking sterility or interrupting the surgical field. Its anti-slip design and tactile feedback ensure precise control even during long, complex surgeries.
3
Lightweight High-Torque Handpiece: The autoclavable handpiece incorporates a high-performance brushless motor for low vibration, low noise, and extended service life. Its ergonomic design reduces surgeon fatigue, while the quick-connect mechanism enables rapid attachment changes in the operating room.
4
Premium Cutting Burrs: Available in a variety of shapes, sizes, and materials (including medical-grade stainless steel and diamond-coated options), our cutting burrs deliver clean, precise bone resection with minimal tissue trauma. They are designed to maintain sharpness throughout extended procedures.
5
Specialized Surgical Attachments: Includes straight attachments, angled attachments (0° to 90°), perforator attachments, craniotome attachments, and skull cutter attachments. These interchangeable accessories make the system suitable for all neurosurgical subspecialties.
6
Medical-Grade Power Cord: The durable, autoclavable power cord ensures reliable power transmission between the console and handpiece, with reinforced connectors to withstand repeated sterilization cycles.
7
Silicone Irrigation Tube: The food-grade silicone tube provides a sterile pathway for irrigation fluid to the surgical site, helping to cool the cutting burr and clear debris for improved visibility.
How It Works
The system operates on a straightforward yet highly effective principle: the footswitch sends precise control signals to the intelligent console, which regulates power output to drive the high-torque motor in the handpiece. This causes the attached cutting burr to rotate at the selected high speed, enabling surgeons to safely and accurately perform surgical functions such as crushing, drilling, or resecting bone tissue and soft tissue during neurosurgical procedures.
Core Technical Advantages
Wide Adjustable Speed Range: Supports variable speeds from 500 RPM to 40,000 RPM, allowing surgeons to select the optimal speed for different tissue types and surgical tasks
High Torque Output: Delivers consistent torque even under load, ensuring efficient bone resection without stalling
Autoclavable Components: All handpieces and attachments are fully autoclavable at 134°C for maximum infection control
Compact Design: The console features a small footprint, saving valuable space in the operating room
Low Maintenance: The brushless motor design minimizes wear and tear, reducing maintenance requirements and extending the system's lifespan
Comprehensive Clinical Applications
Our versatile Neurosurgical Operating Power System is indicated for use in a wide range of neurosurgical procedures, including but not limited to:
● Craniotomy Procedures
● Skull Base Surgery
● Spinal Surgery
● Pediatric Neurosurgery
● Functional Neurosurgery
● Trauma Surgery
Compatibility & Safety Recommendations
To ensure optimal performance, patient safety, and compliance with medical device regulations, we strongly recommend using only auxiliary equipment and surgical instruments that have been officially tested and confirmed compatible with our Neurosurgical Operating Power System. This includes all cutting burrs, attachments, irrigation supplies, and replacement parts.
For customers requiring compatibility with major brand neurosurgical instruments, we offer custom OEM/ODM development services to create fully interchangeable components that meet your specific clinical needs. Using non-approved accessories may void the product warranty, compromise surgical outcomes, and pose potential safety risks to patients.
