2026 Xi’an Spinal UBE Endoscopy Training Successfully Held with EndoTronic High-Speed Burr System in Clinical Hands-on Sessions

The Xi’an Session of the Spinal UBE Training Course, co-hosted by the Spinal Minimally Invasive Committee of Shaanxi International Medical Exchange Promotion Association and The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Medical University, was successfully held on June 6, 2026.
Distinguished experts and professors attended the training to deliver lectures, exchange insights and provide on-site guidance, including Professor Wu Wei, Vice President of The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Medical University; Professor Liu Liuqing, Professor Hao Shiyuan, Professor Yao Yabo and Professor Zhong Jianbo from The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Medical University; Professor Duan Dapeng from Shaanxi Provincial People’s Hospital; Professor Wei Jianmin from Xi’an International Medical Center; Professor Ye Zhengxu from Xijing Hospital of Air Force Medical University; Professor Du Heng from The First Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University; Professor Wang Dong from The Second Affiliated Hospital of Xi’an Jiaotong University; Professor Yang Junsong from Xi’an Red Cross Hospital; and Professor Zhou Chengpei from Tangdu Hospital of Air Force Medical University.
The academic seminar focused on topics including How to Rapidly Improve Unilateral Biportal Endoscopy (UBE) Techniques, Surgical Skills of UBE, Key Points Analysis of Full-spine Application of AUSS/UNSES Techniques, and Experience in Surgical Selection for Full-spine Endoscopy, with in-depth discussions on academic advancement and disciplinary development of the field.

The endoscopic surgical power system for spinal UBE from Chengdu EndoTronic Technology Co., Ltd. demonstrated excellent clinical performance at the event. The system consists of a microcomputer-controlled console (equipped with a 7-inch LCD touch screen, supporting multi-parameter display and multi-parameter setting) and a high-speed burr with a rotational speed of 75,000 rpm. Compatible with burr heads of various specifications, it provides a fully domestically manufactured solution for clinical application of minimally invasive spinal UBE surgery.
Illustrations include: LHDL-ET401 console, LHDL-ET301 console, LHHP-TB601 handpiece, straight & curved attachments (for UBE), and integrated burr heads.
